I attended Colorado State University from 1995-2000 and graduated with a degree in natural resources. I then went to Colorado Northwest Community College where I graduated with a degree in Nursing in 2008. I am most interested in Urgent Care and providing advanced care in difficult locations, often deep in the wilderness or resource poor countries.

I enjoy building anything from trucks and ambulances to woodworking and creating custom projects such as cabinets, desks, etc. I also enjoy camping, skiing, kite surfing, traveling, gardening, and international Medicine.

I attended Colorado State University from 1997-2001 where I graduated with a degree in Nutrition/ Dietetics. Next, I attended the University of Wyoming and graduated with a BSN, RN in 2010 and went back to UW from 2016-2019 where I graduated as PMHNP-C.

I specialized in psychiatric medicine/ mental health because it is so complex and a subject that is a constant wonderful puzzle to figure out.

I spent 2 years teaching English in Japan. I also spent 3 seasons in Antarctica. My First season as a dishwasher and the other 2 seasons as an administrative assistant for the National Science Foundation.

I attended the University of Wyoming where I graduated with a degree in Exercise Physiology, French and Nursing. I then got my MSN-FNP at the University of Colorado. I finished my degree in 2009. I was able to complete clinical rotations at Family Physicians of Laramie, Children’s Clinic of Laramie (now Meadowlark Pediatrics) and at the VA in Cheyenne.

I am most interested in Emergency Medicine. I enjoy the pace of that type of medicine in conjunction with the procedures. If I spent the next several years doing suturing, I would be very content. I enjoy that problems are on the way to being solved.

I am a Laramie Native and have enjoyed raising my family in this great community. I learned to make Crabapple Jelly at Beitel Elementary School, and my mother still has the recipe!

In my free time, I enjoy chasing my children, putting together Legos and running.

I was an Army Medic from 2004-2009. I Received my BSN in Nursing from the University of Wyoming in 2013, then in 2017 I attended the FNP program at the University of Tennessee Chattanooga where I graduated in 2019.

I have equal love for both Urgent Care and Family Medicine. I love the procedures and treating acute illness seen in Urgent Care, but I also enjoy the one-on-one time and preventive aspect of Family Care.

I spent 5 years in the Army with the 101st Airborne and Deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan. I have been Married for 16 years and have 3 children.

I enjoy wildlife photography, fishing, hiking, and attending UW Football and Basketball games. I love cheering on my older son at his basketball games, my daughter at her cheer competitions and my younger son at his T-ball games.
